I originally spotted the majority of these joints over at RTNY, but lo and behold I came across all those plus a bonus joint in the email, “X-Ray”. These are all unreleased tracks reported to have been recorded back in 2009 when the homie Abel was part of a songwriting/production team called The Noise. So The Weeknd and Abel are the same person?
Yea, they are. I really liked the “House of Balloons” EP. Really original, progressive, pop-sensible music. Kinda reminded me of an X-Rated Justin Timberlake.
This EP is cool, but it’s really insincere. You can tell that he was trying to get these songs placed for other artists.
iReally enjoy The WeekNd… He has brought something new to the game something that a lot of other artists are lacking && thats originality && SOME DIFFERENT… We all know boys sing/rap about big butts and yitties shaking && females sing/rap about dirty niggas, players && now “Girl Power”…. iLove the style that The WeekNd has && iHope he stays at the top for a long time!
